As a development practitioner, educator and trainer with more than 15 years experience, Henrietta has been involved with various organisations in South Africa. Her dedication to education stem from her years as a young educator in the anti-apartheid struggle, then privileged to study in England and the desire to contribute to the betterment of the lives of her fellow citizens especially children and young people.
In various organisations over the past few years she has been responsible for developing appropriate and practical systems, design, delivery and the monitoring of various projects.
Her academic experience spans several academic disciplines. She obtained a BPhil degree in Community and Youth Studies from the University of Birmingham after which she enrolled at the University of Cape Town for a Masters in Political Studies. She further holds a Diploma in Education and is current graduate student at the University of Stellenbosch completing an Mphil in Social Science Methods.
